I feel like you can see my heart no longer
it hides behind band aids and bandages
blood clots and gashes,
bruises, back-stabs and back slashes
though I smelled trouble from the start,
I told myself to go ahead... and I let myself fall
Now I can only remember when the feelings felt right
I haven't felt that way again, and it's sad, but sad to say, I'm glad...
... because heartbreaks suck. I think I'll have mine removed.
